舉例 ：there is 句型
1）grammatical concord/agreement （語法一致）注：主語是復數就用復數，主語是單數就用單數。
2）notional concord （意義一致） 這章重點
The goverment have asked the Congress to decide by a vote. "the government" 為什么要用復數呢？
sixteen miles seems like a long walk to me. 為什么sixteen miles is followed by “seems”？不是語法一致而是意義一致。 sixteen miles is regarded as a whole。作為一個整體。
the government ，here，refers to probably the men of the government.可能強調政府里面的人員。所以說在意義上決定他的一致。
ten years is quite too long to me. 把十年作為一個整體。謂語用作單數。
就近原則 neither Julia nor i am going。
there is a book ，two boxes。
there be 句型是一個特例。
以s結尾但是是單數的詞語，1疾病。有些疾病既可以是單數又可以是復數。 2 游戲 3 學科的名稱 4 地理名稱 國家名 海峽 瀑布
用復數的情況，剪刀用復數。褲子
